St George’s Cathedral maintains a choir of men and boys, who sing at the principal service on Sundays and rehears twice a week.
They are an important part of the life of the Cathedral, leading the worship on Sundays and at other times.
There is an annual Choir Festival, when the choir perform a grand choral piece or collection of them.
This year’s Choir Festival will involve the performance of part of Handel’s Messiah.
